Product Introduction
The YA50-4 extends the HM Instruments YA50 platform with a fourth SBS deck position, enabling more complex molecular biology protocols that require multiple reagent reservoirs or an additional plate. While the YA50-3 is well-suited for straightforward single-reagent transfer protocols, the YA50-4 supports multi-step workflows such as PCR setup with separate positive and negative control reservoirs, or NGS library preparation with sequential enzyme and buffer additions — all without manual reagent swapping between steps.
Like all YA50 models, the YA50-4 uses a fixed 96-channel air-displacement head with a 2–50 μL volume range, delivering accuracy of ≤1.5% at 20 μL and precision of ≤1% CV. The compact 580 × 350 × 580 mm footprint remains BSC-compatible, and the Android tablet control system provides intuitive protocol programming with pre-built templates.
