Introduction:

HM-ND automatic tester for dynamic viscosity of petroleum products is a special testing instrument designed and manufactured according to the national standard Determination Method for Dynamic Viscosity of Petroleum Products (GB265-88), which is applicable to measuring the dynamic viscosity of liquid petroleum products. This instrument has the function of timing the movement time of the sample and automatically calculating the final result of the kinematic viscosity. This method is applicable to the determination of the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (refer to Newtonian liquid). Its unit is m2/s, which is usually used in practice as mm2/s. The dynamic viscosity can be obtained by multiplying the measured kinematic viscosity with the density of the liquid. This method is to measure the time of a certain volume of liquid flowing through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer under gravity at a constant temperature. The product of the capillary constant of the viscometer and the flow time is the kinematic viscosity of the liquid measured at this temperature. The product of the kinematic viscosity at this temperature and the density of the liquid at the same temperature is the dynamic viscosity at this temperature.
