









Product Overview
HM-GSG is a laboratory trace silicate analyzer for measuring soluble silicate ions in water samples. It combines automatic peristaltic-pump injection with photoelectric colorimetry. The source specification describes use with desalinated water, steam condensate and boiler water in power, chemical and fertilizer, metallurgy, environmental protection, pharmaceutical, chemical fiber and semiconductor applications.
The measurement principle uses soluble silicon reacting with ammonium molybdate at pH 1.1–1.3 to form a yellow silicon-molybdenum complex. Ferrous ammonium sulfate reduces the complex to silicon-molybdenum blue. The analyzer measures absorbance and determines silicon content according to the stated photoelectric colorimetric method and Lambert–Beer relationship. The design references GB/T 12149-2017 for silicon determination in industrial circulating cooling water and boiler water.
