Product Overview

HM-LSG is a laboratory phosphate analyzer for measuring soluble phosphate ions in water samples. It combines automatic flow sampling with photoelectric colorimetric detection and calculates phosphate concentration from the developed reaction solution and an internal calibration curve. The source specification describes the instrument for desalinated water, steam condensate and boiler water testing in power, chemical and fertilizer, metallurgy, environmental protection, pharmaceutical, chemical fiber and semiconductor applications.

The method is based on the ammonium molybdate spectrophotometric approach referenced in GB/T 6913-2023, Analysis methods for boiler water and cooling water—Determination of phosphates. In an acidic medium with antimony salt, orthophosphate reacts with ammonium molybdate to form phosphomolybdate yellow. Ascorbic acid reduces it to phosphomolybdate blue; the instrument detects absorbance at 710 nm and calculates concentration as phosphate (PO₄³⁻).
