The HM-CWF1 Ultra-Micro Spectrophotometer is a compact, all-in-one biological analysis instrument designed for rapid quantification of nucleic acids and proteins in laboratory environments. Built on UV-Vis spectrophotometry and Beer-Lambert's Law (A = εcl), it provides accurate absorbance measurements at three fixed wavelengths — 230 nm, 260 nm, and 280 nm — along with a dedicated OD600 module for bacterial culture monitoring.

Unlike conventional cuvette-based photometers, the HM-CWF1 employs liquid column surface tension technology, allowing direct measurement of sample volumes as low as 0.5–2 µL without dilution, cuvettes, or capillary tubes. This consumable-free design minimizes sample loss and significantly reduces per-test costs, making it particularly suitable for labs handling precious or volume-limited biological samples.

The instrument integrates a UV-enhanced CMOS linear array sensor and a high-stability pulsed xenon lamp (PP value <0.5%), ensuring consistent photometric accuracy across extended use.
