The HM-YN4 is a portable automatic kinematic viscometer designed for rapid testing away from a fixed laboratory bench. It measures transparent and non-transparent Newtonian liquids, including new and in-use lubricating oils, using two capillary viscometers and photoelectric detection. The standard capillary inner diameter is 0.5 or 0.8 mm, and the two-capillary arrangement provides 100-fold total coverage. The measurement range can be customized within (1 to 2000) mm²/s according to user needs. Micro-volume operation requires 300 μL of sample, while the constant-temperature range is ambient to 100°C with ±0.01°C control accuracy. Guided operation and a full Chinese display simplify field use. An integrated automatic cleaning and drying system, three-proof engineering box and built-in 24V lithium battery support mobile testing.
