The HM-KFV1 is a Karl Fischer volumetric moisture titrator designed for precise water content determination in samples with moderate to high moisture levels. Based on the volumetric titration principle, it quantifies water through the stoichiometric reaction of iodine, sulfur dioxide, and water, using dead-stop endpoint detection for accurate determination of the titration equivalence point. The instrument is verified against JJG1154-2018, the national verification regulation for Karl Fischer volumetric moisture titrators.
Built on the Android operating system with a 7-inch color touchscreen, the HM-KFV1 provides an integrated platform for titration control, data management, and report generation. It comes standard with dual burettes (10 mL and 20 mL), enabling flexible titrant volume selection with a minimum titration increment of 1 μL for precise endpoint approach. The sealed fluid path uses PTFE tubing and fluorocarbon rubber seals to prevent solvent diffusion and chemical corrosion. Compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and GLP requirements ensures data integrity in regulated environments. Multiple result units (μg, mg, %, ppm) are supported, and a built-in thermal printer provides on-demand documentation. Wi-Fi connectivity enables cloud-based firmware updates.
