Cable fault tester

Overview:

This tester is mainly used for locating broken wires, short circuits, and ground leakage faults (insulation resistance to ground within 0.5 megaohms) of high and low voltage buried power cables within 10KV level (which can be extended to 50kV), as well as detecting the depth and path direction of buried cables.

Suitable for maintenance of streetlight cables, troubleshooting of cable faults in agricultural irrigation fields, troubleshooting of buried armored iron sheet power cables in residential properties and landscaping belts, outdoor power cables, highways, factories and mining enterprises, and troubleshooting of buried power supply cables for tower communication base stations.

This instrument adopts advanced integrated circuit technology, cutting-edge calculation methods, simple circuit structure, high reliability, and low misjudgment rate.

Three channel design:

1. Length testing: Under power off conditions, it is possible to directly test the distance of cable breakage and short circuit faults.

2. Anti interference channel: Adopting high-performance filtering and anti power frequency interference circuit, cooperating with signal generator to locate the position of ground leakage of buried cables in power off state, and measuring the direction and depth of buried cable path.

3. Full frequency channel: Use a probe to test the location of minor ground leakage faults in buried low-voltage cables when powered on. It is a powerful tool for shortening fault finding time, improving work efficiency, and reducing the labor intensity of line maintenance personnel.
