The HM-CL2 is the mid-range benchtop dust particle counter from HM Instruments, designed for cleanroom and controlled-environment facilities that need six-channel airborne particle measurement together with battery portability, audit trail logging and on-site report printing in a single instrument. A single sampling pass at 2.83 L/min (0.1 cfm) simultaneously measures 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0 and 10.0 µm particle size channels, and the instrument displays both the count of each channel and how that count is changing over time.
Confidence-level evaluation follows GB/T 6167-2007 and JJF-1190-2008, so the purification level is judged automatically. Counts are computed at 95% UCL and convertible between m³ and ft³. The audit trail function is queryable, traceable and controllable, compliant with FDA 21CFR PART11, so every sampling run, configuration change and user login is logged. The built-in thermal printer lets operators print selected particle size channels on the spot, and the AC/DC dual-use battery supports continuous sampling for more than six hours away from wall power.
