Product Introduction

The HM-CLZ1 is an online dust particle counter from HM Instruments, designed for permanent installation in cleanrooms and controlled areas where airborne particle concentration has to be recorded continuously rather than spot-checked. A single sampling cycle measures six particle size channels at once — 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0 and 10.0 µm — at a fixed sampling volume of 2.83 L/min (0.1 cfm), and the instrument displays both the count of each channel and how that count is changing over time.

Confidence-level evaluation follows the conditions specified in the Chinese national standard GB/T 6167-2007 and the calibration specification JJF-1190-2008, so the purification level is judged automatically instead of being calculated by hand. Counts are computed at 95% confidence (UCL) and can be converted to particles per m³ or per ft³. Built-in temperature, humidity and ambient pressure sensors record the environmental context of every sample. The unit suits pharmaceutical plants, drug inspection institutes and hospitals, semiconductor and precision machining workshops, food processing lines, filter manufacturers, and optical, aerospace and bioengineering cleanrooms.
