The HM-CL-2 is an all-in-one chemiluminescence imaging system designed for laboratories that need reliable, high-sensitivity detection of proteins and nucleic acids. The system eliminates the need for an external computer by integrating a 15.6-inch capacitive touchscreen directly into the instrument. This architecture reduces bench clutter, simplifies operation, and minimizes signal interference.

At the core of the system is a 9-megapixel cooled CMOS sensor with 16-bit gray-scale resolution. The sensor is cooled to -25 °C at 22 °C ambient, which suppresses dark current and enables long exposure capture of weak chemiluminescent signals. The optical path uses an F0.95 lens with ≥ 85% transmittance across the 400–900 nm range, preserving signal strength for quantitative Western Blot and blotting applications.
