The plane in-situ root system analyzer is a soil root in-situ plane multi-level image monitor, which can obtain soil and root side profile images, monitor the growth status of living roots in the soil, and obtain high-resolution images for analyzing the detailed structure of the root system.

Using professional in-situ root system analysis software, root length, root surface area, volume, average diameter, number of root tips and other root morphological parameters can be quickly analyzed and calculated.

This instrument overcomes the limitations of the rotary root system monitor and can continuously measure the root growth status of a complete plane, which is more practical for root system research.
