Product Introduction

HM-16-14 is a 1400°C vacuum atmosphere box furnace for universities, research institutes, and industrial or mining enterprises carrying out atmosphere-protected sintering or atmosphere reduction. Its 400*300*300 mm chamber is configured for larger material batches and research-to-production transition work, with a 16kw rating and 380V50/60HZ supply listed for this model. The furnace is specified with a uniform temperature field, fast heating, energy-conscious operation, and the ability to introduce multiple gases. A polished furnace door with an embedded silicone strip supports sealing, while lightweight alumina ceramic fiber provides insulation and resistance to rapid heating and cooling. Double-layer forced-air cooling is used for the furnace body. Intelligent temperature control provides 30-50 segment programmable PID self-tuning, automatic heating, and automatic cooling. Optional RS-485 communication and control software can support computer-based start, stop, pause, heating-curve setting, curve storage, and historical-curve recording. The model is suited to the listed ceramic, metallurgical, refractory, special-material, and building-material work. For the matching technical configuration, see the related HM-16-14 product guide.

Applications / Testing Items

  • Atmosphere reduction studies in universities and research institutes.
  • Ceramic and refractory material development with controlled heating.
  • Metallurgical and special-material experiments requiring the listed gas connections.
  • Electronic, glass, chemical, mechanical, new-material, and building-material research.
  • Small-batch production and process teaching within the documented application scope.
  • Atmosphere-protected sintering for 1400°C-class material work.

Functional Performance / Features

  1. silicon carbide rods used as the heating element for the 1400°C class.
  2. S-type (0-1600°C) measurement system for the listed temperature range.
  3. Temperature control accuracy specified as ±1°C.
  4. Heating rate can be set from 0-20°C/min; the documented recommendation is ≤10°C/min.
  5. Inert gases, mixed gases, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon monoxide, and hydrogen are listed as usable gases.
  6. Inlet ball valves, an outlet port, a vacuum-pumping port, and one vacuum gauge are provided in the gas-control arrangement.
  7. The intelligent controller provides 30-50 segment programmable PID self-tuning with automatic heating and cooling.
  8. Integrated module control includes deviation-temperature, over-temperature, broken-thermocouple, and overcurrent protection.
  9. Optional RS-485 communication, control software, touchscreen control, observation window, paperless recorder, remote communication, and circulation fan are available.
  10. Maximum temperature class of 1400°C for this configuration.
