The HM-T4 Research-Grade Soil and Fertilizer Nutrient Analyzer (commercial model HM-CT) represents the flagship instrument in HM Instruments' desktop spectroscopy series. Powered by an ARM Cortex-A7 RK3288 processor (1.88 GHz) and Android OS, the HM-T4 features 12 colorimetric channels, 4-wavelength cold light sources, and patented filter technology (Patent ZL 2020 2 1763837.9). The instrument achieves an optical repeatability error of ≤0.02% and stability sixfold superior to national standard JJG179-90. Beyond complete macro- and micronutrients, the HM-T4 performs quantitative screening for 10 heavy metals in soils and fertilizers (Pb, As, Cd, Cr, Hg, Ni, Al, F, Ti, Se) and monitors food safety parameters (nitrates, nitrites, heavy metals) in fruits and vegetables.
