Product Overview

The turbidity online monitor is an online monitoring instrument designed to measure the turbidity of water quality in the process of municipal sewage and industrial wastewater treatment. It can be used to detect turbidity changes in biochemical treatment processes and provide continuous and accurate measurement results.

Measurement Principle

After the light waves sent by the transmitter on the sensor are absorbed, reflected and scattered by the object being measured during transmission, part of the transmitted light can be irradiated to the detector in the 180° direction, and part of the scattered light is scattered to the detector in the 90° direction. The light intensity received on the detectors in the 180° and 90° directions has a certain relationship with the turbidity of the sewage being measured. Therefore, the turbidity of suspended matter can be calculated by measuring the intensity of the transmitted light and the scattered light.
