Brief introduction
The activated carbon strength tester is developed and designed in accordance with GB/T7702.3-2008 "Test Methods for Coal based Granular Activated Carbon - Determination of Strength" and GBT12496.6 "Test Methods for Wood based Charcoal - Determination of Strength". It is suitable for the determination of coal based granular activated carbon strength and wood based activated carbon strength.
Structural Principles
According to the specified test conditions, the activated carbon strength tester places the activated carbon sample in a drum containing steel balls, turns on the strength tester, starts timing, and through the mechanical movement of the drum, the sample is worn and the change in particle size of the damaged sample is measured. The strength of the activated carbon sample can be calculated by using the mass fraction of the sample retained on the test sieve to the original sample.
Technical parameters:
1. Drum speed: 50r/min ± 1r/min
2. Display: 4-digit digital tube
3. Timing accuracy: 1 second
