Product Introduction

The HM-DSL2 is a portable acoustic Doppler velocimeter from HM Instruments designed for professional unidirectional flow velocity and discharge measurement in open channels, rivers, and partially filled pipes. Based on the acoustic Doppler principle combined with the velocity-area method, it provides single-direction flow monitoring with a velocity range of 0 to 6 m/s at ±1.0% ±1 cm/s accuracy, and water depth measurement from 0.03 to 5 m at 3% ±0.5 cm precision. The instrument features a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with 480 × 320 resolution, a quad-core processor running Android 4.4.2, and 6 GB of onboard storage capable of logging up to 1 million data points. Built-in GPS positioning, WiFi, Bluetooth, Type-C and aviation connectors, along with Modbus/RS485 communication, deliver comprehensive connectivity for field operations.
