Introduction:

For a long time, having a good lineage has been considered an important factor affecting competition results. The so-called good lineage refers to a specific genotype that can be inherited. Given that certain genes in racing pigeons have a significant impact on their athletic ability, through reference to authoritative literature and European testing experience, combined with existing innovative technologies, it has been found that homing ability indicators, endurance indicators, cryptochrome indicators, muscle growth inhibitor indicators, feather keratin indicators, etc. have important reference roles in pigeon flight ability and breeding ability. By detecting these indicators, more scientific reference basis can be provided for pigeon enthusiasts to choose racing pigeons and breeding pigeons.

Our pigeon flying ability identification device, which combines the above genetic research, can simultaneously identify genes that affect flying ability, including gender identification of pigeons, homing ability DRD4, flight endurance LDHA, navigation ability, circadian rhythm CRY1, muscle strength (muscle regulation) MSTN, wings (feather structure and strength) F-KER, etc.

Basic structure of the instrument

The real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR system is an instrument for real-time detection of reactions, mainly composed of gene amplification thermal cycle system, fluorescence real-time detection system, microcircuit control system, computer and application software. Two core functional modules are the thermal cycling system and the fluorescence real-time detection system. The working principle of the gene amplification thermal cycle system is basically the same as that of traditional gene amplification instruments, using semiconductor heating and cooling to complete the thermal cycle process. The fluorescence detection system mainly consists of fluorescence excitation components, light signal transmission components, fluorescence detection components, and control systems.
