Nitrogen content generally directly reflects the health of crops, growth status, and understands the actual nitro demand of plants and the lack of soil nitro or whether too much nitrogen fertilizer is applied. It is widely used in nitrogen fertilizer management, herbicide application, leaf senescence, environmental stress and other research. Chlorophyll meter is of great significance in the process of agricultural planting.
The result of chlorophyll content measurement is SPAD value, which is the ratio calculation of the amount of light transmitted by the leaf at two wavelengths of 650nm and 940nm to determine the relative amount of chlorophyll in the leaf at present (the transmittance coefficient within the two wavelength ranges determines the relative amount of chlorophyll in the leaf at present). SPAD value is proportional to chlorophyll, so SPAD value can often indirectly represent chlorophyll value, so as to evaluate the health and growth status of plants. Therefore, in agriculture, chlorophyll meter is often used to detect the chlorophyll content of plants to guide the application of nitrogen fertilizer. Therefore, chlorophyll meter is used to guide the fertilization of nitrogen content in agricultural planting process. At the same time, in many plants, it is used to judge the stress resistance of plants.
Leaf temperature is often used to indicate the body temperature of plants. All chemical reactions in plant leaves are affected by leaf temperature and are often used in the analysis of plant physiological activities. The difference between leaf temperature and air temperature can indicate the water shortage or drought degree of plants. Because when the water supply is sufficient, the plant transpiration is normal, and the transpiration heat consumption can reduce the plant body temperature. At this time, the leaf temperature is lower than the air temperature; on the contrary, when it is drought-stricken, the plant body temperature rises and can be higher than the air temperature at that time.
But now the only instrument that can be used for rapid detection of nitrogen at home and abroad is the chlorophyll meter, which tests the SPAD value and can only roughly infer the nitrogen content of the plant according to the SPAD value. Our company breaks through the tradition and cooperates with Zhejiang University to develop the first domestic plant nutrition rapid determination instrument based on near-infrared spectroscopy non-destructive detection method and data mining technology. It can quickly and non-destructively test the chlorophyll, leaf nitrogen content, leaf temperature and physiological growth information of plants in the field, which is of great significance in agricultural research and production.
