The HM-DX type water quality biological toxicity detector is a new generation of biological acute toxicity analyzer used in the laboratory. It is a toxicity detection system based on biological fluorescence sensing technology, which qualitatively and quantitatively detects the changes in luminescence intensity of luminescent bacteria during metabolism. Compared with traditional biological detection methods such as fish, fleas, and other aquatic organisms, the luminescent bacteria method is simple, fast, sensitive, adaptable, has good repeatability, high accuracy, low cost, and has a wide range of applications. Detection principle:
The HM-DX type should perform dual functions: toxicity testing and determination of microbial contamination; Toxicity testing is conducted using luminescent bacteria that exist in nature. These bacteria emit light during normal metabolic processes. If placed in a toxic environment, their cellular respiration process is affected, resulting in a decrease in the amount of light emitted. The HM-DX type luminescent detector measures the luminescence of luminescent bacteria before and after exposure to toxic environments, and the degree of reduction in luminescence corresponds to the strength of toxicity.
The detection results can be compared with the standard toxic substance HgCl2 or zinc sulfate heptahydrate to obtain the corresponding toxicity level.
