The blue-green algae analyzer in water consists of a portable host and a blue-green algae sensor. It uses the characteristics of blue algae in the spectrum that there are absorption peaks and emission peaks. It emits monochromatic light of a specific wavelength into the water. The blue algae in the water absorb the energy of the monochromatic light and releases monochromatic light of another wavelength. The light intensity emitted by the blue-green algae is proportional to the content of blue algae in the water.
