Product Introduction:

The Capsaicin Tester is mainly used for natural capsaicin in various peppers and pepper products. The instrument consists of a brightness light-emitting diode light source, a colorimetric cell, a high-sensitivity integrated photocell, a microprocessor, a large-screen LCD with Chinese characters, and an embedded micro-thermal printer integrated chip. It can directly display the content of relevant indicators in the tested sample on the large-screen LCD screen, print out the analysis results, and can also transfer data to the computer through a computer interface for data analysis.

Working Principle

The capsaicin components in the tested sample react specifically with the color developer under certain conditions to generate products of different color depths. These products will selectively absorb visible light of different wavelengths. The depth of the color, that is, the absorbance, is correlated with the concentration of the indicator component in the sample and obeys the Lambert-Beer law within an appropriate concentration range. Therefore, the absorbance value detected can be automatically calculated by the built-in standard curve software of the instrument to obtain the accurate concentration of the indicator component in the sample and whether it exceeds the standard.
