Product Introduction:

Pepper numbing degree detector is an instrument used to measure the content of pepper amide (or pepper numbing flavor) which is the main component causing numbing taste in pepper or pepper products (such as pepper oil). The numbing taste of pepper is caused by the activation of specific nerve receptors in the mouth by the unsaturated fatty acid amide compounds contained therein, especially pepper numbing (such as hydroxy-alpha-sanshool). The application of numbing degree detector can ensure food quality control, compliance with condiment standards and accuracy of scientific research.

This product and method adopts spectrophotometric detection technology to react chemical reagents with pepper numbing substances, and then determines the content of pepper amide by color change and absorbance, which is used for quantitative analysis of the numbing degree of pepper and its products. It can meet up to 96 tests. In the case of repeated wells, up to 42 samples can be detected at one time.
