Product Introduction

The HM-NQ Automatic Pour Point and Solidification Point Tester is a benchtop petroleum analysis instrument for determining the low-temperature flow and solidification behavior of liquid petroleum products. The HM-NQ tester uses an automatic air-pressure method: the sample is preheated to 45°C or the expected value plus 9°C, cooled at a specified rate, and automatically pressure-tested at 1°C intervals from the expected value plus 15°C. This workflow reduces manual intervention while keeping the test sequence visible on the integrated display.

Designed for routine quality control laboratories, refinery support labs, petroleum product inspection teams, and teaching or research facilities, the unit combines semiconductor refrigeration with a high-precision air-pressure sensor and an A-grade PT100 temperature probe. Its 7-inch 1024 × 600 touchscreen switches between Chinese and English, shows the live temperature curve and parameter values, and supports unlimited data storage according to eMMC capacity. Results can be exported or uploaded to a cloud platform, while the thermal printer provides a local record. The system covers -70°C to +51°C with ±1°C repeatability and 0.1°C temperature accuracy.

Applications

  • Petroleum Product Quality Control — Routine low-temperature testing for liquid petroleum products

  • Refinery Support Laboratories — Instrumental support for product inspection and process-related laboratory work

  • Oil and Fuel Inspection — Measurement records for samples where pour point or solidification behavior is required

  • Third-Party Testing — Repeatable automated measurement for analytical service laboratories

  • Research and Teaching — Demonstration and study of low-temperature petroleum sample behavior

Functional Performance

  1. Automatic Air-Pressure Measurement — Runs the pressure-based test sequence without manual pre-pumping

  2. Reliable Sealing — Elbow clamps press the seal, while automatic leak detection provides an alarm when leakage is detected

  3. Intelligent Air-Pump Control — Controls cyclic pump operation to support the automated workflow and protect internal components

  4. Semiconductor Refrigeration — Refrigeration-chip protection and real-time water-cooling temperature monitoring support controlled cooling

  5. Abnormal-Condition Alarm — Automatically stops and alarms when the cooling system detects an abnormal situation

  6. Standardized Cooling Profile — Uses staged cooling rates of 3°C–4°C/min and 0.8°C–1.1°C/min according to the sample condition

  7. Fine Temperature Sampling — Performs pressure testing at 1°C intervals with an A-grade PT100 temperature measurement method

  8. Visible Test Progress — Displays the real-time temperature curve and current parameter values throughout the run

  9. Bilingual Touch Operation — 7-inch, 1024 × 600 touchscreen with Chinese and English system-language switching

  10. Connected Records — Supports data export and data upload to a cloud platform, with storage limited by eMMC capacity
