The HM-WX3B from HM Instruments is an entry-level three-channel microbial limit tester designed for laboratories performing routine membrane filtration-based microbial limit testing. Operating on the negative-pressure membrane filtration principle, the instrument captures microorganisms on a filter membrane, which are then cultured and counted to determine microbial content in the sample. The HM-WX3B features straightforward mechanical rotary knob control, allowing each of the three filtration channels to be operated independently. A single built-in diaphragm pump provides reliable vacuum generation with low noise, while the direct drainage design eliminates the need for separate filtrate collection bottles. The L304 stainless steel shell ensures corrosion resistance and easy surface disinfection, supporting cleanroom hygiene requirements.
