Airborne Bacteria Sampler

Product Overview

The HM Instruments HM-KF1 is a portable airborne bacteria sampler using a perforated sampling head and particle impaction. Air is drawn through the head and microorganisms are collected on agar in a Petri dish for subsequent incubation and colony counting.

• 100 L/min sampling flow with a programmable sampling volume.
• LCD display shows sampling volume, sampling time and operating parameters.
• Sampling records can be stored in up to 256 pages; the product documentation also lists USB-drive data export.
• The removable sampling head provides access to a standard Φ90 × 15 mm Petri dish.
• AC and DC operation supports use at different sampling locations.

Applications

For collecting airborne microorganisms in pharmaceutical facilities, hospitals, biological-product production, food processing and public places. Culture media, incubation conditions and result interpretation must follow the applicable microbiological testing procedure. The sampler collects microorganisms; it does not provide an immediate identification result.
